ABOUT THE ARTISAN: Susan Phillips Moskowitz doesn’t fit the mold of a typical Silicon Valley entrepreneur– she owns no hoodies or cool sneakers, and her most recent job was working as a grants administrator at Stanford University. However, she has always had the desire to try new things. As soon as she retired from her Stanford job she signed up for the Palo Alto Adult School Upholstery class. This was a match made in heaven and she loved selecting different fabrics for her projects. She was introduced to FabMo by one of the Upholstery instructors, Isabelle Trainer, and started incorporating FabMo fabrics into her projects. She now upholsters small footstools and uses the FabMo fabrics as a lining to her knitted purses. She is excited to be part of the FabMo Boutique.
