FabMo is an all volunteer organization.
We would not exist without the dedication of our volunteers. 

Here are some of the ways volunteers make it all possible:  

  • collecting exceptional designer materials from the SF Design Center with our founder Hannah - a full day of hauling each week. We dare you to keep up with Hannah!

  • sorting materials by type and size for a half-day once a week. We sort, chat, share creative ideas, show off recent projects and swoon over all the beautiful materials.

  • staging the warehouse for a Selection Event or a Special Sale - a satisfying job of displaying beautiful materials so they find a new home and purpose.

  • supporting an event by greeting patrons and helping them have a great experience. For new volunteers this 2-hour shift is a great way to get started!

  • helping with fun, hands-on projects for kids of all ages during Bay Area events like Maker Faire and Earth Day.

  • offering special skills such as tech support, fundraising, bookkeeping, and many others needed to run our organization.
