In this three-hour workshop, participants will create beautiful fabric butterflies using colorful textile scraps and creative folding techniques. These versatile handmade butterflies can be attached to hairpins or brooches, or used to embellish clothing, hats, bags, and other accessories.
This class is appropriate for anyone over 13 with basic hand sewing skills. The fee is $50, which covers the materials you will need to make at least two fabric butterflies. All minors under the age of 15 must have a paid for seat and be accompanied by a paying adult.
The workshop will be taught by Leila Ghasempor, an interdisciplinary artist and experienced teacher who has taught many art classes for people of all ages.
