ARTISAN STATEMENT: Using the fabulous array of leather I have found at FabMo, I make leather earrings, bracelets, keychains/ bag swag, and small card and jewelry holders under the name “Hide & Chic”. The earrings and bracelets are unique handmade gifts or are a special treat for yourself. The cardholders, keychains, and bookmarks are perfect for stocking stuffers, last minute gifts, hostess gifts and just because!

I’ve only been coming to FabMo for a little over a year but I was immediately hooked by the great products and the wonderful group of volunteers and customers that I have the opportunity to get to know. I’m so grateful to have found this gem!

Because most of the leather I have bought at FabMo is sample sized, I often have only two or three pairs of earrings in the same color and texture. The small sizes and variety of textures are often what inspire me to try a new look or combination of colors and shapes, something that wouldn’t happen without access to the many different kinds of leather that FabMo provides. It’s exciting to create and sell pieces that are one of a kind, telling customers no one else will ever have the same pair!

Also, the great prices at FabMo enable me to experiment and continue to improve my pieces, without charging exorbitant prices. (I can’t wait to see what new things I’ve created by next year’s fair!)

FabMo also provides that extra touch I add to many of my pieces through the treasures I find in the Notions room. Beads, broken necklaces and charms are exciting finds and often shape my next project.
