ARTISAN NAME: Lydia Sanchez

CREATIONS: Pet Portraits on Commission, Cross-Body Sling Bags, and Eyeglass Holders

ARTISAN STATEMENT: I began my pet-portrait journey as a painter. Over the last couple of years, I have discovered the art of collage quilting and now create pet-portrait wall hangings on commission. My quilted cat, Finney, was featured on the front cover of Fabmo’s August 2024 Newsletter. FabMo has fueled my passion for creating extremely affordable products and has given me the support to reimagine the possibilities. Inspired by FabMo’s endless sea of beautiful, high-quality fabrics, I am currently designing Cross-Body Sling bags for the Artisans Market.
