CREATIONS: Decorative Eco-Friendly Trees and Ornaments

ARTISAN STATEMENT: I create eco-friendly decorative trees and ornaments handcrafted from repurposed fabric scraps, giving new life to materials that might otherwise go to waste. Each tree and ornament are thoughtfully designed and individually made, making every piece one of a kind. My work is inspired by nature, sustainability, creativity, and a love of transforming reclaimed fabrics into beautiful, unique décor that can be enjoyed year after year. Each unique piece includes other found objects from FabMo such as thimbles, bells and pieces of wood. 

CONNECTION TO FABMO: FabMo has been a wonderful source of inspiration for my work. I love giving high-quality fabric samples and textile remnants a second life by transforming them into handcrafted pieces of art. Using FabMo materials encourages me to be creative with the colors, textures, and patterns available, so each piece develops its own unique character. One of the best parts is discovering unexpected fabrics—luxurious upholstery samples, rich and beautiful textures—that spark new design ideas and make every piece a little different.
