CREATIONS: Hand sewn and refashioned clothing, Tote Bags, & Notebooks/Journals
ARTISAN STATEMENT: I am a FabMo volunteer and class instructor and believe in their mission of creative reuse to reduce landfill waste. At the FabMo Artisans Market, I will be offering sustainable and refashioned clothing, tote bags, notebooks/journals, and hats using FabMo fabrics, embroidery floss, embellishments, vintage trims, buttons, upholstery samples, and notebooks. My techniques include machine and hand sewing, overdyeing fabrics and vintage lace and trims, and piecing together original art textile collages to embellish my clothing and tote bags.
