ARTISAN NAME: Leila Ghasempor

CREATIONS: Crochet, Paper Quilling, Brooches, Greeting Cards

ARTISAN STATEMENT: Leila Ghasempor is a sustainable artist and educator inspired by the novelty yarns at FabMo, and creates handcrafted crochet dolls, knitted pieces, and dangling earrings with a playful, sustainable touch. Some designs are her own, while others are made from favorite patterns by fellow artists—each finished with Leila’s unique style. She also teaches crochet to share her love of yarn and creativity.

CONNECTION TO FABMO: Leila has been volunteering with FabMo both in person for sorting and helps in collaborative efforts. She serves as FabMo workshop chair, where she is passionate about connecting art and craft teachers with FabMo and bring their expertise for FabMo craft lovers.
