ARTISAN STATEMENT: I am an interdisciplinary sustainable artist and educator with a passion for creativity and community. It has now been one and a half years, and I have been an active part of FabMo, where my love for sustainability has inspired me to volunteer and serve as Workshop Chair. Every visit to FabMo sparks new ideas, and all the yarns I use are treasures sourced from there.
I am also the founder of People Around Us, a platform dedicated to supporting artists and crafters. Through Croknitting by Leila, I create handcrafted crochet dolls, knitted pieces, and dangling earrings—each made with a playful, sustainable touch. Some designs are original, while others are inspired by favorite patterns from fellow artists, always finished with my own unique style.
