ARTISAN STATEMENT: Hello, I’m Sherry Duarte, a retired teacher and home sewist for 50+ years. Rooted in a lifelong love of sewing, I create pieces that bring comfort, beauty, and joy using FabMo’s fabrics, trims and notions. Examples of my work include custom garments like casual kimonos and dressy scarves. Also, handmade accessories such as headbands, eye glass cases, tissue holders. As well as home décor, including fabric baskets and pillows. Each item is thoughtfully crafted with care, patience, and attention to detail.

FabMo is my happy place! I enjoy rescuing beautiful fabrics and dreaming of my next creations, sourcing specific supplies for tailored orders. I have been a loyal FabMo shopper for six months and grateful volunteer for five months. I have purchased bags and bags of fabric and sewing supplies to create a variety of unique and useful items that I’m thrilled to share with you.
