ARTISAN NAME: Caroline Haskin

CREATIONS: Purses, Totes, Leather Purse Ornaments and Accessories

ARTISAN STATEMENT: I design and make one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly, purses and structured shoulder-bag totes; most featuring either a vintage needlepoint or English horse brass. I’ve also recently added a line of leather purse ornaments and accessories.

All of the fabrics I use, and most of the leathers (other than the repurposed leather belts I use for straps) come from FabMo. Because every purse I make is different, I need to keep a large stock of durable fabrics on hand, and in a broad range of colors and patterns. At FabMo, I’ve been able to find most of the materials I need, at a price that has helped me to do that, and to grow my small business, Bagnitude.
